So let's hear about my day.
It started off poorly with only 3 hours of sleep because it took me 3 and a half hours to fall asleep. Which still would have only given me 6 and a half hours of sleep, but still. That's better than 3.
Then I had to work, which annoyed me far more than it should have. I'm guessing because of the sleep thing.
Ah, but then I got off early, and here's where it gets fun. I had to find a pair of khaki pants since we can't wear shorts to work starting in September, so I went to several stores until at last I had to go to Walmart, defeated. At Walmart, I ran into someone who used to work at my theater who was nicknamed "Creepy Carl". I'm looking at calendars and then see him and kind of stop in my tracks. He says hi, and then the friend he was with goes on without him. This guy starts a conversation and says "Oh yeah, I saw your car in the parking lot so I thought you'd be in here."
Which is kind of creepy. Let's take a moment here to explain the nickname. So this guy always used to chew on matchsticks at work. One day, another girl that worked with us went into her car after work and found a bunch of matchsticks in there. I could make a whole journal on all the stories about him, but I won't. Anyway, after he finally leaves, a guy who was standing by us says "He knew you were here because he was stalking you."
I laughed and was like "I know." Because I wouldn't doubt it. Then the guy keeps talking and says stuff like "I can be your witness. I got that creepy stalker vibe from him. That's the kind of guy your mom warned you about." At which point I'm thinking Yeah, but so are you.
Then I leave the store, and when I get home I see a giant nail sticking out of my tire. Now, I'm not saying it was Creepy Carl, but it seems a little too coincidental for me. Especially since it was sticking straight out and not at an angle or anything. And that's my story from today. It was actually interesting if you took the time to read it all.
