Quick note, went to American Idol tour for Jason Castro, loved watching him sing. Got autographs from him, Brooke, David Cook, David Archuleta, and Kristy Lee Cook. No one else came out afterwards. Which is fine for them, I guess. If they really want to be that way...
Yesterday was a long day. I was so tired that I slept until about an hour ago. And then I woke up and realized it was 4 and I was still kind of tired. Oh well.
Not much else happened except all the things that happened yesterday that I don't feel like boring you with. Sorry. :P
I should probably go find something to eat since I'm hungry and haven't really eaten anything in the past 24 hours.

Ah...
So let's hear about my day.
It started off poorly with only 3 hours of sleep because it took me 3 and a half hours to fall asleep. Which still would have only given me 6 and a half hours of sleep, but still. That's better than 3.
Then I had to work, which annoyed me far more than it should have. I'm guessing because of the sleep thing.
Ah, but then I got off early, and here's where it gets fun. I had to find a pair of khaki pants since we can't wear shorts to work starting in September, so I went to several stores until at last I had to go to Walmart, defeated. At Walmart, I ran into someone who used to work at my theater who was nicknamed "Creepy Carl". I'm looking at calendars and then see him and kind of stop in my tracks. He says hi, and then the friend he was with goes on without him. This guy starts a conversation and says "Oh yeah, I saw your car in the parking lot so I thought you'd be in here."
Which is kind of creepy. Let's take a moment here to explain the nickname. So this guy always used to chew on matchsticks at work. One day, another girl that worked with us went into her car after work and found a bunch of matchsticks in there. I could make a whole journal on all the stories about him, but I won't. Anyway, after he finally leaves, a guy who was standing by us says "He knew you were here because he was stalking you."
I laughed and was like "I know." Because I wouldn't doubt it. Then the guy keeps talking and says stuff like "I can be your witness. I got that creepy stalker vibe from him. That's the kind of guy your mom warned you about." At which point I'm thinking Yeah, but so are you.
Then I leave the store, and when I get home I see a giant nail sticking out of my tire. Now, I'm not saying it was Creepy Carl, but it seems a little too coincidental for me. Especially since it was sticking straight out and not at an angle or anything. And that's my story from today. It was actually interesting if you took the time to read it all.

Llama
Yeah, I had a whole long journal about stuff, but then I decided I didn't need to explain myself to any of you. Think whatever you want about whatever you will, but just because you think one way, it doesn't mean I do. I've been trying to put this next part into words, but they just don't come out right, so I guess I'll stop trying.
Anyway, Shawn Johnson got her gold, and that made me really happy. She's my 3rd favorite Olympic athlete after Apolo and Dominique Moceanu. I have very little love for Kerri Strugg, and I challenge any of you to watch her again and actually say she's good. She did one good thing for the team, which she wouldn't have had to do if she hadn't done the other thing she was supposed to do very poorly.
Huh...I think I have very weak thought process left right now. And that sentence made absolutely no sense. I realize this, but I just don't feel like going back to figure out how to fix it. Shush.
*Big sigh of relief* Firefox just died on me, but it still kept everything I'd typed after restoring it. Good fortune.

Awwww
So I was talking to my OK friend and she said that it's a good thing I'm talking about Shawn Johnson so much since people are probably getting tired of me talking about Apolo all the time. Is this true? Are you really tired of hearing about Apolo?
Did you know Shawn Johnson has a golden retriever? That makes her ten times more awesome than I thought she was before.

Um...I'm sure there's more that I should be saying, but I can't think of anything. Oh, I had the coolest dream a few days ago that ended with Sylar from Heroes cutting off my head to steal my super powers. Which is awesome because it meant I had super powers. But that's not why the dream was so great, although I won't go into why it was since I don't feel like explaining it to you.
Happiness abound. I got my story sent to me from my OK friend, and now I can start writing it again after almost 3 months. So that makes me really happy. ^_^ It's just an all around great day.
Now let's just hope for a gold tomorrow...

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things
First of all, let's get out of the way that I watch American Idol, Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, and the winter olympics. Yes, ha ha "She's a loser, she watches reality TV." Shut up. This is the long-awaited journal you've all been waiting for about my favorite things. It's dedicated to three people who have been waiting very anxiously for it. And those people are Matt, Em, and my friend Katie. Sniff...this just wouldn't be possible without all your support! So without further ado, let's get on with it.
5th - Zelda
Ok...I'll admit that I didn't have a 5th thing that I love so I decided to fall back on Zelda. It was a choice between that or Tales of Symphonia, and Zelda won out because...well, it's Zelda.
4th - Ozzy from Survivor
Ozzy was number 3 up until he decided to be a freaking moron last night and get bumped down to number 4. 1-2 years ago when he was first on Survivor, he absolutely dominated in the challenges, and he was completely in love with the experience of living on that island so I knew that he'd be back if there was an All-Stars 2. Which there kind of is. And he's back. (And still so much better than Yul.) :P
3rd - Prince Caspian
The movie, not the prince. Although I will admit that I love the character. I can't wait for this movie to come out. That's pretty much all I talk about at work movie-wise. I think I'm starting to annoy people. I don't care though, it was my favorite of the Narnia books, and it's going to be a great movie. By the way, I signed up for that poster, and I'll be very happy when I can hang it up in my room.
2nd - Jason Castro from American Idol
I find it likely that none of you would like Jason Castro. But he's easily my number 2, and Bb will actually be very surprised to hear he's closing in on my number 1. He doesn't have the voice to belt out songs like most of the other people, but his strength lies in singing with such conviction, as though he's gone through the experience of the song. (Maybe you have to listen to the song 248 times to really get it.) Here he is singing on tuesday night. Also, he's just adorable, and you can't argue with that. And he plays the guitar.
1st - Apolo Anton Ohno
I
Apolo. He's an olympic short track skater who won season 4 of Dancing with the Stars. Let's all watch him samba! He's very competitive, but not in an annoying way, he just has a drive to better himself. Which is why he wins gold medals. I wish I didn't have to wait until 2010 to see him again...
So that's all. I figure most of you will probably skip this journal, but I do expect the three I mentioned to read it, study every picture, and click on every link. That's the price you pay for even faking interest. That'll teach you to do that next time.
Currently Listening To: Jason Castro, "Hallelujah" (Aw, come on, that shouldn't be a surprise.)
P.S. I used "waiting" several times on purpose in the first paragraph. Thought you should know.

Arrrrrrrrrrrggggggola
My friend told me to make a favorite things journal. I would, but it'd just be all the famous guys I love, and I know none of you want to read about that, especially Bb who hears about them enough as it is.
It's really hard to type when you're singing.
I really need a new computer. Mine has been acting up since the day I bought it, and I think it's starting to die a little more than usual. Except, if I get a new computer, then I'm stuck with Vista so...there's that.
I had a dream where a polar bear was attacking a deer, and so my friend went to go stop the polar bear, and the polar bear beat her up. But the polar bear was a doctor so my mom thought it'd serve the polar bear right if he had to help her after beating her up, so she drove an ambulance after him and forced him to help. That was not one of those "important" dreams I've been having, I just thought I'd share because it's so odd.
I like days off. I wonder what they're like. Tomorrow's day 6 in a row of work, and luckily, someone was nice enough to switch with me so I work at night now. Which means I get to sleep in. And go to sleep late. Yay.
Currently Listening To: Train, "When I Look To The Sky"
P.S. Everyone who hasn't made a journal in two weeks should make a new one.

Look Out!
I keep having these dreams that I can't remember, and then at some point during the day, I'll get a brief flash of the latest one but never be able to actually think of what it was. And I feel like I'm missing something incredibly important, and it's kind of frustrating. Like in this last one I was in an auditorium and talking to someone, but I can't remember who, and I can't remember the situation very well, but there were all these blinking colored lights, and it's just driving me insane. I know they're just dreams, but I feel like I need to know what happens in them.
Maybe I have superpowers, and that's what it's all about. If so, that's fantastic.
I was going to add more, but then I realized it'd make this journal really long, and nobody really cares that much. So I'm going to leave since I have to wake up for work in the morning anyway. And since nobody will work for me, I have no choice but to sleep...2 hours ago.
